A stunning and rare four chair and dining table set by renowned Danish mid-century furniture manufacturer Findahls Møbelfabrik.
With original upholstery in a flecked oatmeal beige hardwearing tweed fabric, this set is in excellent condition and hard to com by. The table opens via two extending pieces on either side to create dining space for a maximum of six in an unusual mechanism not seen often and unique to Findahls.
All four chairs are stamped with the Findahls logo and upholstery meets currently fire-safety standards as verified with labelling (see photos).
I have searched the web for a set the same and have found pieces similar but not identical to this unique and genuine set by this sort-after furniture maker.
Rare and in excellent condition - a compact set with simple lines classics of Danish furniture styling and pleasing to the eye for any mid-century / Scandinavian style lover / collector.
