This vintage teak desk was designed by Frank Guille for Austinsuite in the 1960s, featuring iconic sculpted handles and a trapeze-style base.
Part of the Scandinavian-influenced mid-century modern movement in the UK, it includes storage with seven drawers, including a central "kneehole" drawer often featuring internal dividers.
Some wear evidence and consummate with the age of the piece - a buff with some wood refinisher would bring it up a treat. Some damage to the right leg - see pictures - but perfectly functional.
A lovely retro piece for a mid-century inspired home.
