Vintage French-style Mid Century Armchair Pair In Baby Blue Damask Fabric 3/3. 
 
This pair of French clam-shell armchairs feature a curved design with deep buttoning and baby blue damask upholstery. 

These chairs are clamshell shaped for a beautiful vintage Hollywood revival style and feature detailed hand-worked fringes along the base, constructed with hardwood frames and traditional upholstery techniques. The upholstery needs cleaning but is in exceptional condition with almost no snags or sagging, all fringing intact and with original deep-buttoning adornment. Upholstery feels to be traditional horsehair.

Two matching two-seaters available also available. 
 
Both in excellent condition for the age and very much useable in a modern home.

Where I cannot be certain of the age of the pieces, the stuffing feels to be horsehair and thus suggested pre-1950 and therefore would not be subject to current fire safety standard rules. Please be aware that this is only an estimate however, and thus purchase with regards to fire safety is at own risk. 

Would be a stunning vintage boudoir addition, in a shop window or on stage. Or just a stunning piece from a bygone era in a vintage-inspired home.
